Andrew “Drew” Rouk

Drew has been having trouble drumming with his left hand since early March. It progressed into problems writing and typing and golfing.  We were referred to a neurologist who worked us in early Tuesday morning (4/25). The neurologist ordered an urgent MRI and sent us to Egleston where we learned that Drew had a brain tumor. It was on his right frontal lobe, operable, and the size of a golf ball. The tumor was removed on Friday, 4/28 and analyzed. On 5/31, Drew began to receive 6 weeks of proton therapy treatment for the high grade tumor.
