John Bishop

On February 28, 2025, our world changed forever when our 3 year old son John was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma with the MYCN gene amplification, a high-risk and aggressive form of childhood cancer. What started as subtle symptoms quickly turned into a life filled with scans, chemotherapy, and critical decisions no parent should ever have to make.

Since that day, John has shown strength beyond his years. He has faced intense chemotherapy, major surgery to remove a tumor, blood infections, and long hospital stays. Through it all, he continues to smile, fight, and inspire everyone around him with his quiet courage.

John is surrounded by love and support. His twin brother Liam, little sister Scarlett, and baby brother Luke cheer him on and brighten his days. Our family has been through so much, but John’s bravery continues to lead us forward.

This journey has tested every part of us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But John reminds us every day what resilience looks like. While the road ahead is still uncertain, we believe in his healing. We believe in his future. And we hold onto hope, knowing he’s not walking this road alone.

John is not just a patient. He is a fighter. A big brother. A light in our lives. His story is still unfolding, and we believe it will be one of survival, strength, and a life beautifully lived.
